It’s been about 3 years now since I have quit drinking soda. It hasn’t been the easiest thing to quite but I did and I know it’s for the best. I will give you a couple of reasons why people drink soda and why you shouldn’t drink it. I think it’s vital for everyone to know the risk of soda and what it can do.
I know greatest amount of people most likely know that soda is bad for them but maybe not everyone know the extent of how bad it is. I’m not going to lie and say that I haven’t drank soda for the previous 3 years, I have cheated a couple of times and had a sip or two of it. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t drink it every day, not even every week, the only reason I have drunk soda is because my boyfriend drinks it and I would sip on his. But know both of us don’t drink it at all.
Here are 8 reasons why people drink soda (and most of these if not all you will know): it’s very tasty, it’s everywhere, convenience” grab-n- go”, promotion and advertising, soda habit, it’s cheap, thirst, caffeine addiction.
These are 16 reasons you should stop the habit or whatever you might have. Soda is useless, weight gain and obesity, diabetes, weakened bone and risk of osteoporosis, dental caries and erosion, kidney damage, increased blood pressure, likely to cause heartburn, metabolic syndrome risk factor, harmful effects on liver, impaired digestive system, dehydration, high caffeine content, toxins-aspartame, possible cell damage ability, and last but not least there are so many healthy alternatives….like tea or even better water!
